Program Management Lean Six Sigma Blanket Purchase Agreement with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Baldr Consulting member Atlas Research is proud to highlight our successful collaboration with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) through the 5-year Program Management Lean Six Sigma Blanket Purchase Agreement (PMLSS BPA). Our mission was to implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, focusing on processes that prioritize value addition, customer orientation, and veteran-centered services.
Over the span of five years, our dedicated team at Atlas Research has significantly contributed to VHA's major healthcare transformation initiatives. Our involvement encompassed nearly 60 task orders, during which we developed and implemented 500 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials tailored for 65 clinical programs. This effort was instrumental in reducing the wait times for specialist appointments by an impressive 23 days, substantially enhancing patient access and experience.
We led over 50 Rapid Improvement Event teams across the VHA healthcare system, rigorously applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Our comprehensive service delivery included eight key areas: 1) Program Planning and PMO Stand Up Services; 2) Requirements Development and Management Services; 3) Systems Engineering Support; 4) Enterprise Program and Integration Support; 5) Lean Management Engagements and Interventions; 6) Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) Studies; 7) LSS Engagements and Interventions; and 8) SME Tiger Teams.
Atlas Research's commitment to excellence and our expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies have been pivotal in driving significant improvements within the VHA healthcare system, ultimately benefiting our nation's veterans.
